Mamodo Battles to launch for GC, PS2 on October 11

Every one thousand years, one hundred mamodo descend upon the earth to conduct the ultimate battle. The winning mamodo becomes the mighty king of the mamodo world. There is only one problem - in order for the mamodo to use their powerful spell books, they need a human partner!

Bandai’s Zatch Bell: Mamodo Battles features a variety of characters all engaged in he pursuit of the title. Primary among them are Zatch and Kiyo, who share a special friendship as well as battling for the right to claim the kingship of the mamodo world.

In an exclusive to GameZone.com, Bandai has released character images and brief biographies of each of the central characters in this video game.

Today we are revealing the final four major characters:

Tia: A strong-willed mamodo who befriends Zatch. She is skilled in defense spells and knows about Zatch’s past in the mamodo world.

Megumi: A pop star and owner of Tia’s spell book. She and Tia befriend Kiyo and Zatch. Megumi cares for Tia like a sister. 

 

Zofis: A heartless mamodo who has manipulated and altered Koko’s personality into that of a cold-hearted person. He has the power to turn a mamodo or human’s heart from warm to cold.

 

Koko: Although she grew up in poverty, Koko was a warmhearted person and Sherry’s best friend. But after meeting the mamodo Zofis, who manipulated Koko’s mind, she becomes a cold-hearted person.
