Mamodo Battles to launch for GC, PS2 on October 11

Every one thousand years, one hundred mamodo descend upon the earth to conduct the ultimate battle. The winning mamodo becomes the mighty king of the mamodo world. There is only one problem - in order for the mamodo to use their powerful spell books, they need a human partner!

Bandai’s Zatch Bell: Mamodo Battles features a variety of characters all engaged in he pursuit of the title. Primary among them are Zatch and Kiyo, who share a special friendship as well as battling for the right to claim the kingship of the mamodo world.

In an exclusive to GameZone.com, Bandai has released character images and brief biographies of each of the central characters in this video game.

Today we are revealing Zatch, Kiyo, and Brago.

Zatch: A mamodo kid who was sent by Kiyo’s father to mentor Kiyo. When Kiyo reads from the “Red spell book,” Zatch's mysterious power activates. Zatch does not remember about his past in the mamodo world.

Kiyo: A genius but an aloof 14-year old boy. Since meeting Zatch and becoming the owner of the red spell book, he starts to change for the better.

Brago: A cool mamodo kid who has the ability to control gravity. His goal is to become a strong and powerful king.
