SEGA Announces Early Ship for NBA 2K3

In a move that's nothing but net, SEGA(R) of America, Inc. today announced that "SEGA Sports(TM) NBA 2K3" for the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system and the Xbox(TM) video game system will ship on October 8, 2002.

Promising to be even better than its critically-acclaimed predecessor, "SEGA Sports NBA 2K3" will feature a new post up game, dynamic new moves like pivots, fake passes and mid-air shot adjustments, more than 100 new dunks and player-specific facial animations. "SEGA Sports NBA 2K3" will give gamers the chance to warm up for the 2002-03 NBA season with the most authentic basketball simulation ever created.

Set to compete on all three video game systems, "SEGA Sports NBA 2K3" will also launch with online capabilities for PlayStation 2 and Xbox. "SEGA Sports NBA 2K3" will ship on the Nintendo GameCube(TM) on October 15, 2002.
