BE CROWNED KING OF THE KONGA AT THE NINTENDO WORLD LAUNCH EVENT!

At the Grand Opening of the first ever Nintendo World store, Nintendo fans have the opportunity to show off their gaming skills and play against skating phenomenon Ryan Sheckler

Saturday, May 14, 2005 starting at 1:00 P.M.

WHAT: Nintendo celebrates the historic launch of its first ever Nintendo World(TM) store with a hip-hop, bongo beating challenge that will crown one Nintendo fan King of the Konga --- the Donkey Konga(TM) 2 champion.

The Contest

Visitors to the Nintendo World Grand Opening (a unique outdoor block-party event with non-stop gaming) can register for the contest and practice Donkey Konga skills on Nintendo GameCube(TM) kiosks in advance of the competition.

Competitors will square off against each other for a power round in which the person with the highest score gets the chance to participate in the ultimate challenge against s Ryan Sheckler - X Games gold medalist and star of Tony Hawk's UndergroundTM 2 game for Nintendo GameCube.

The Prize

The winner takes home an ultra-rare Nintendo skateboard signed by Ryan and a massive prize pack featuring the latest Nintendo systems and games, including Nintendo GameCube, Nintendo DS(TM), and a Game Boy(R) Advance SP!

The Game

Donkey Konga 2 challenges players to drum on unique bongo-shaped controllers to the beat of a wide variety of popular tunes, from hip-hop to electronica and rock n' roll classics. Learning to play Donkey Konga 2 is easy, but mastering the bongo skills takes real talent!
