MAJESCO ESTABLISHES INTERNATIONAL PRESENCE TO OVERSEE GLOBAL EXPANSION
EDISON, NJ, April 23, 2002 – Majesco, a rapidly growing publisher of interactive entertainment software, today announced the formation of a wholly owned International office to oversee the publishing and distribution of its products throughout Europe. Based in England, Majesco Europe will facilitate the introduction of Majesco products throughout key European territories, as well as seek new products for the U.S. market.
“With the rapid pace of business today and the growing global influence on interactive entertainment, the establishment of an international office was critical to our growth strategy,” said Jesse Sutton, President of Majesco. “Led by an experienced management team, we hope our newly established presence provides a venue through which we can also establish relationships with both developers and publishers alike.”
With an International charter, Majesco Europe will focus on such critical markets as England, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Asia Pacific and the Benelux region. Overseeing this expansion is a management team consisting of experienced industry executives, including Christopher Meredith, Managing Director International, who has held senior management positions at companies such as Sony Computer Entertainment America, MicroProse and 3Dfx Interactive. Joining Meredith are Jason Dutton, Marketing Director International, and Spencer Crossley, Publishing Director International, both of whom worked in high-level management positions at leading entertainment software companies; Hasbro, Sony, Mindscape and MicroProse.
