The Sims are getting out of the house! The Sims: Bustin' Out is a new stand-alone (as in, not an expansion pack) installment in the hit franchise.

The main change behind Bustin' Out is the ability to get your Sim out of the house and into the community interacting with 30 new characters in over a dozen new locations. Depending on your career (of which there are ten new ones), you can go to various different spots, ranging from a Gym to a Nightclub. In these areas, you can control all characters in the area to your bidding task. For example, you can make someone do a triple flip into a pool or make someone spin LP's as a DJ in a nightclub. Depending of their skills, your Sims will meet with varying degrees of success in these matters. You can also unlock several vehicles with which to cruise around town checking out the hotspots. Another plus that wasn¡¦t available in the previous console incarnation of the series is the ability to co-operatively complete the game with a friend. All in all, Bustin' Out aims to please those Sims fans who are just itching to get out of the house.
