E3 2003 - First Look
Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes definitely has turned some heads this year at E3. Twin Snakes is actually a remake of the first Metal Gear Solid to appear on the Sony Playstation, and with Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto helping, it is coming to the Gamecube. Not too many changes have been made since the original, so it’s still the same story and gameplay.
One of the things that have been updated is the quality of the graphics. Everything has been smoothed out, and more detailed textures have been added. Also, cut scenes have been extended or redone, so people who have played the original aren’t just playing the same game.
If you liked the first Metal Gear Solid or never got a chance to play it, do not miss this title. For people who haven’t played the game, Metal Gear Solid is one of the best games to come out on the Playstation. For people that have played the original and liked it, Twin Snakes isn’t just a port. The extended story sequences flesh out more of the story, and give more action and has beautiful graphics. Keep an eye out for more on Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes for the Nintendo Gamecube.
