E3 2003 - First Look
All of us who grew up with the Atari, Intellivision, etc. will remember multiple hours playing the original Pitfall game. Well, Pitfall Harry, the hero, now has a new look and has been fully reborn on the next gen systems of today in a groovy new 3-D look. While there are many additions to make it a new experience, there are also a lot of the original obstacles that have been left in which classic gamers will remember. For example, Harry has a new system called "Direct Control", which allows you to utilize the analog sticks to control each hand independently to do things like swing and climb on ropes or climb rocks. He can also use each hand separately to get out of crocodile's mouths or even do a little rafting in various areas. As for the original stuff ... crocodiles, scorpions, snakes ... it's all there. This time, it's in full 3-D and chock full of 40 mins of CG and lots of mini games and puzzle elements.
For all of you classic folks ... be looking for our original hero to return to consoles in the Fall of 2003.
