Majesco Ships 'Bomberman' games for GameCube and GBA
Majesco announced today that it has shipped the highly anticipated Bomberman Generation for Nintendo GameCube, and Bomberman Max 2: Blue Advance and Bomberman Max 2: Red Advance for Game Boy Advance.
Popular Series Makes First Appearance on Nintendo GameCube
Majesco, one of the fastest-growing publishers of interactive entertainment software, today announced they have acquired the rights from Hudson Soft to publish three new titles from the popular ‘Bomberman’ franchise.
Description
Bomberman Generation takes full advantage of the powerful new console and offers players an all-new, adventure-based Bomberman experience. As Bomberman, players must navigate lush, cel-shaded 3D environments across five separate worlds each with 16 different areas as they attempt to stop the nefarious Hige Hige bandits. Players will have to move fast to strategically drop bombs, blasting open new pathways leading to each level boss. Bombs can be combined with different elements to reveal new powers revolving around water, ice, wind, and light. Bomberman Generations features a fast-paced single player mode and multiplayer mode which returns Bomberman to its classic 2D grid-style design, for up to four players.
